6th Annual Union Fairgrounds Car Show Rte 17 on Common Rd, Union. Rain date: Sun May 22. We offer classes of interest for just about every enthusiast- cars, trucks, motorcycles, special vehicles and added this year, Street Rods. Awards for Best of Show, Best Stock, and Judges  Choice. Beautiful trophies in all categories, ribbons for all entries, plus $100 cash for Best of Show. 50/50, a lot of exhibits for the kids. Great music and food. Registration from 8-10am. $10 for car plus one rider. Show cars that are registered can sell car items at no cost. Gate opens at 10am, with a $5 admission, kids under 12 are free. Awards at 1pm. FMI: Mike Drickey 207-470-7401 mike.drickey@gmail.com

Veterans Park Cruise-in. Maine St, Lewiston. Located by the Airplane Jet. Donations for this event at the entrance. 9am-1pm. Breakfast items and a 50/50. This is a great place for a show with great parking and lots of Lewiston history displayed along the waterfront. All proceeds will go to the emergency need of veterans and their families. FMI:  207-520-1683
