Independence Day Classic Car Show at Bug Light Park. Bug Light Park, 40 Madison St, So. Portland. As part of the Independence Day activities, there will be a display of vintage and classic cars from 11am-2pm at the Bug Light Park, on the lawn across from Cushing’s Point Museum. Running concurrently will be a 4th of July Food Truck, at the museum and a reading of the Declaration of Independence by “Benjamin Franklin” at Noon. Yarmouth Clam Festival The Main Street Rumble takes place from 1-4pm. Because of the limited space, this is an invite only car show. It begins with a police escort of 20 to 25 classic vehicles making their “rumble” entrance down Maine Street in Yarmouth. Vehicles are then on display in the heart of the festival for the afternoon.
