Annual Togus Veterans’ Picnic Togus Veterans’ Hospital Recreation Area – Cruise-In from the Augusta Civic Center. 16-year old+ event to honor veterans and give them a chance to leave their rooms to visit with friends and car owners. Staging for the cars and motorcycles will be at the Augusta Civic Center beginning at 9am. The Grand Cruise-In will leave promptly at 9:30am for Togus. All groups and individuals are encouraged to “adopt a vet” by escorting those patients who need assistance.
